USO Fort Cavazos est. 2001

Serving Central Texas military service members and their families since 2001.

Since its founding in 1941, the USO — a private, nonprofit organization — has served the people of the United States military and their families throughout their time in uniform — from the moment they join, through their deployments and as they transition back to their communities. Although the USO is a congressionally chartered organization and works in close partnership with the Department of Defense (DOD), the USO is not part of the federal government.

USO Fort Cavazos was first established in 2001. Currently located in the Rivers Building (Bldg. 121), it was the first USO Center on a military installation.
